1. Nature of Service & Operational Scope

FuelPartsDB is an independent, non-transactional diesel fuel injection technical reference database. The platform exists solely to provide workshops, remanufacturers, fleet engineers, and automotive technicians with verifiable technical specifications, cross-reference interchange matrices, interactive workshop calculators, and diagnostic protocols.

We do not sell physical products, process financial transactions, maintain user shopping carts, or offer customer accounts. To sustain free, open access to our engineering database and workshop tools, FuelPartsDB may display contextual or programmatic advertisements served via Google AdSense. Advertising never influences published OEM tolerances, test-bench specifications, or interchange data.

2. First-Party Storage & Google AdSense Cookie Disclosure

FuelPartsDB's own application code sets zero first-party tracking cookies. For basic UI preferences, two transient keys ('fpdb_cookie_dismissed' and 'fpdb_catalog_view') are stored strictly in your browser's local sessionStorage, contain zero personally identifiable information, and are cleared automatically when you close your tab.

Third-Party Advertising Cookies (Google AdSense): Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies (such as the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites on the internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to visitors based on their visit to FuelPartsDB and/or other sites on the internet.

Opt-Out & Consent Controls: Users may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com) or www.aboutads.info. Visitors from the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK, and Switzerland are presented with a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) where required to manage advertising and cookie preferences in compliance with GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive.

3. Absolute Non-Collection of Personal Data

We do not collect, harvest, store, or monetize Personal Identifiable Information (PII) such as your legal name, physical address, email address, phone number, payment details, or vehicle identification numbers (VIN).

You can browse, filter, inspect technical torque tables, compare nozzle orifice specifications, and search all engine families with 100% complete anonymity.

4. Client-Side Offline Search Architecture

Our search functionality is powered by Pagefind, an offline, static WebAssembly indexing engine. When you perform a search on FuelPartsDB, the search index chunks are downloaded as static assets and processed locally inside your browser's execution memory.

Your search queries, part number inputs, and vehicle filtering selections are never transmitted to our servers or any analytics endpoint. Your diagnostic investigations remain completely private to your local device.

5. Hosting Infrastructure & Edge Server Logs

FuelPartsDB is hosted as a globally distributed static website on Cloudflare Pages. Like all web hosting infrastructure, the edge server network automatically processes standard HTTP request headers (such as IP address, user-agent string, requested URI, and timestamp) solely for network transmission, DDoS mitigation, and server security.

These standard edge connection logs are maintained strictly for network operational integrity under Cloudflare's enterprise security protocols and are never linked to personal identities or behavioral profiles.

6. Technical Data Accuracy & Workshop Disclaimer

All technical specifications, torque values, copper washer thicknesses, diagnostic fault code references, and injector interchange mappings published on FuelPartsDB are compiled from manufacturer technical publications, ISO standards, and professional workshop manuals.

While every reasonable engineering effort is made to maintain high data fidelity, all information is provided strictly on an 'as-is' engineering reference basis. FuelPartsDB disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding commercial fitness or operational suitability for specific vehicle installations. Technicians must verify all critical tolerances against OEM service manuals prior to executing physical repairs.

7. Trademark Notice & Nominative Fair Use

All manufacturer names, brand names, vehicle makes, engine family codes, and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part numbers (including but not limited to Bosch, Delphi, Denso, Continental/VDO, Renault, PSA Peugeot Citroën, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, and Cummins) referenced on this website are the registered trademarks and property of their respective holders.

Reference to any specific commercial manufacturer, brand, or OEM part number is made solely for descriptive, identification, and compatibility verification purposes under the doctrine of Nominative Fair Use. FuelPartsDB is an independent technical database and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Robert Bosch GmbH or any automotive manufacturer mentioned herein.
